THE ELEVENS is a Vancouver based Rock band formed in 2013 by Arik Dicks, Troy Giffin, Mike Costea, and Brennan Buglioni. THE ELEVENS brings a high energy rock sound, incorporating elements of Alternative, Blues, and Funk into Rock. Think of influences like The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jack White, and The Strokes. With rich, swaggering vocals, eclectic riffs and a groovy rhythm section, THE ELEVENS deliver a true to form Rock and Roll experience that is sure to get people moving.
The 4 members of THE ELEVENS all attended the same high school music program. Needing to find musical outlets beyond school, Arik Dicks (guitar), Troy Giffin (Bass), and Brennan Buglioni (Drums) started a band called Ransack with three other members. Creative differences and alternate life choices distilled Ransack down to just the trio, leaving Arik, Troy and Brennan hungry for a new band. They got their wish in bringing vocalist Mike Costea into the fold. A tighter more united squad, THE ELEVENS was fresh and ready to take on the challenge of being an upcoming rock band.
The next couple years were a blur of gigs and songwriting as THE ELEVENS experimented with sound and performance. Places they played include Venue, Fortune Sound Club, The Red Room, The Roxy, Studio, and several more, as well as festivals like Port Moody Wave Festival, and Port Moody Rib Festival.
The band just released their brand new self-titled album on July 18th, 2017, now streaming everywhere.
